For the past 30 years, Bob Merry has been collecting antler, bone fossils, and other materials from across the Arctic to create one-of-a-kind works of art. All of these works of art are hand-carved and made in Alaska.
This design incorporates Ancient Mammoth Ivory. Woolly Mammoths roamed the Earth for 1.8 million years, until their extinction about 10,000 years ago. Unearthed in Northern Alaska, Canada, & Siberia, its unique colors are derived from the minerals found in the soil.
