Jeanette Ramberg, residing in Homer Alaska, creates her "Activity dolls", potraying the extremely harsh existence of the eskimo. She hand sculpts the face of each doll, then spends countless hours sewing the different furs into the traditional clothing. She will use beaver, otter, wolf, ermin, salmonskin, fossil ivory ar anything else that is native to the culture. The traditional "Mukluks" are then sewn from sealskin.
